How we collect, use, and share personal data when you use sponsor.ink.
1. Who we are
sponsor.ink is operated by LAN Media Limited (“we”, “us”), registered in Scotland under company number SC775540. Registered office: 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN.
We are the controller of personal data we collect through the website and service, unless this policy says a processor holds data on our instructions.

2. Scope
This policy covers the sponsor.ink website, signed-in product, contact forms, and service emails. It does not cover third-party websites where content may be published. Those sites have their own policies.
3. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:
- account details such as name, email, password (stored hashed), and role;
- profile and marketplace information you submit, including listings, orders, messages, and related files;
- contact and support messages;
- technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and security logs;
- cookie and similar storage data, as described in our cookie policy;
- payment-related metadata from payment providers when you use paid features (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
4. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- provide and operate the service;

- process listings, orders, messages, and payments where available;

- secure the service and prevent abuse;

We do not sell personal data.

Processors act on our instructions under appropriate agreements.

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards recognised under applicable law.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including account life, commercial records, security, disputes, and legal requirements. Logs are usually kept for shorter periods unless needed for an investigation.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Keep your login details safe and tell us if you suspect misuse.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to a supervisory authority such as the ICO in the UK or your local authority in the EU.

The service is intended for adults acting in a business or professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
